Mission Hints:
==============

- If you somehow mess up a mission, and it gives you a "Can't set Resolution"
error, you can bypass it, by hitting the 'f' key. This will allow you to exit
XvT and figure out what went wrong.

- If you set a craft to be disabled and you want to board and give, take or
exchanged cargo, you must repair the craft afterwards! Use the starship
repair order with another craft (besides the one that boarded with it already)
to repair it.

- If you capture a ship, I have found that it usually just flies away, no matter
what it's next set of orders are, I have checked most missions that capture
ships and found this to be consistant.

- Because of the previous hint, If you want a ship to fight on the side
of the boarding craft, you should have it become disabled (either by order or
by ships with ions), and then have a ship come and repair it. It will then
execute it's next set of orders, which should be to attack friendly craft or
whatever else you want it to do.

- IFF codes and team numbers are not the same! This is important when creating
a mission. You can have 2 sets of FG's with different IFF codes, but as allies
instead of enemies because they are on the same teams.

- Because the editor defaults a flightgroup to arrive ALWAYS, and if you want
a flightgroup to arrive after some conditiion is met, you should set all the
arrival conditions to NONE, then set ONE (or more) of the conditions to what
you want.

- With some experimenting you can make a craft "appear" to start on the launching
pads of most starships, it takes a little practice and patience. For example if
you use a Platform 3 as a station at x, y, z - 0, 0, 0 respectively, try
setting the x, y, z of the flightgroup that's stationed there to -0.1, .05, .01
repectively, it will appear to begin on the launch pad of the platform.

- Just because an order, target or goal reports "Unknown", doesn't mean it doesn't
do anything! Experiment and report your findings, it would really help out the
maker in giving you the most options available.

- The Universe map is good for general placement of flightgroups, but it's a
better idea after placing flightgroups on the map to "tweak" their numbers
a little to make them look more aligned on the map.

- If all else fails, don't be afraid to ask someone for help, and if you
find a bug, make sure you send the bug report to tyrsis@idirect.com so he
can fix the problem ASAP!

- It is a good idea not to use individual flightgroup goals instead of
global goals. Only use individual flightgroup goals for bonuses, because
for some reason XvT doesn't like set goals for other teams when setting
individual goals, besides, global goals do basically the same as normal
goals.
