How do I choose what types of files to index?

The Document Types list shows what types of documents will be indexed by the Indexer, and what their corresponding file extensions are.
| 3. | Clicking on the boxes to the left of each installed document type will turn indexing on or off for that particular type. |
The Mail Services list interface indicates what types of mail messages will be indexed by the Indexer.
| 4. | Clicking on the checkboxes for each type of mail will turn indexing on or off for that particular type of mail. |
You are also allowed to customize the installed document types, or add new file extensions.
