Chart a Trendline

Another way to project a trend is to chart a trendline. A trendline shows the direction of your sales visually.

First, use the Chart Wizard to create a column chart. Then, click the chart, and then click the first column. Click Add Trendline (Chart menu), and then select the type of trendline you want. For more information about creating charts, see Create a Chart from Worksheet Data.
