TurboCom/95 Pro
User Guide Update

Since the manual was printed, several features have been added to TurboCom/95 Pro.
These features are described briefly below. See the Help files for more details on these
capabilities and how to use them.

Re:Ports Monitor
- You can now select the type of information that is shown in the field at the lower
right hand corner of the Monitor panel. The options are:
TOTAL BYTES, the default selection, which is described in the manual.
AVERAGE THROUGHPUT, a new selection, which shows the average throughput
since the port was opened or the readouts were reset.
TIME OPEN, a new selection, which shows the length of time the port has been open.
- To change the selection for this field, use the new Statistics box on the Display
Properties page.

- To suppress the Title Bar on the Monitor, just double-click on any of the gray borders
in the panel. Double-clicking again restores the Title Bar.

 TurboCom ViP
- A Virtual Port wizard has been added. This makes it easy to create a Virtual Port
for use by DOS applications, or, when necessary, by 16-bit Windows applications.
- You can now access the Virtual Port capability from the Re:Ports menu, instead
of from the Properties page.
- You can assign a Virtual Port any port number in the range COM1-COM9
(expanded from the original range COM1-COM4).

Uninstall
You can uninstall TurboCom/95 Pro without having to insert the original diskette.
