1. Known Problems
=================

1.1 Installation Location
-------------------------

During MacTransfer installation, when prompted for the installation location,
ensure that you enter a first level folder such as C:\MacTransfer or
C:\Insignia. If you install MacTransfer into a lower level folder, for example
C:\Applications\MacTransfer, the installation will not be completed correctly.

1.2 Post Installation Reboot
----------------------------

Once MacTransfer for Windows 95 has installed successfully, you will be asked
to reboot your computer. At this point, remove the floppy disk from your disk
drive to allow your computer to reboot. If at this point your computer does
not reboot, wait until all disk activity has stopped for a minute and then
manually reboot your computer.

1.3 MS-DOS TREE command
-----------------------

There is a known problem with the MS-DOS TREE command. Whilst accessing a
Macintosh formatted floppy disk the TREE command does not display a true
representation of a file system compared with that on the disk.
