The following are changes to the Planner program since the manual was printed.
These changes are reflected in the online help shipped with the Planner
program.

Group Manager

The Group Manager can be used in conjunction with the Address Book to add cards
to groups. To add a card to a group, select the group name from the Groups
list on the left side of the Group Manager. Then open the Address Book and
drag the card from the Address Book to the Cards in Selected Group list of the
Group Manager. Drop the card in the list and it will be added to the group.
The Group Manager can also be used to create Appointments, Things To Do, and
Calls to Make in the same way that the Address Book can. With the appropriate
section open, open the Group Manager, select the group containing the card,
then drag the card from the Cards in Selected Group list in the same way you
would from the Address Book.

Printing:

The "Print Front and Back" checkbox has been moved from the Options / Report
tab to the Forms tab.

Program Settings:

Display tab -

There is an additional checkbox pertaining to the address book called "Display
Extra Info in Address Book." Clicking on this option will include, with the
usual data in the Address Book or the Group Manager, the contact name
associated with a company card or the company name associated with a personal
card, enclosed in square brackets.

Example:

With the checkbox not checked:
Business card:	ABC Corp.
Personal card:	Jane Doe

With the checkbox checked:
Business card:	ABC Corp. [John Doe]
Personal card:	Jane Doe [XYZ Corp.]

Phone tab -

There are three additional checkboxes in this panel called "Modem Installed",
"Card # Before Party #", and "Zero Before Party #."

The first option must be checked if a modem is installed. The autodial
feature will not function unless a modem is installed and this option is
selected. The proper COM port must also be specified.

The second option swaps the order of the credit card number and the party
number. For example, MCI and AT&T request the party number first, followed
by the calling card number. Touch One and some others, however, request
the reverse order.

The third option includes a zero before the party number. Most calling
card companies require a zero to be dialed before the party's area code.
Touch One and some others do not.

Printing tab -

Setting the "Include To Dos and Calls on Monthly Calendars" checkbox will
cause Planner to include To Dos and Calls on monthly calendar printouts. This
is optional since a large number of items per day overflow and generate
addendum pages.
