Click on any texture and you will see a graphic of what the texture looks like and what its basic use is. Remember that textures are where most of the fun is. Play with them, add several together to see the results. Some of these textures have names like Frogskin, it's obvious what this texture will do. Others have more obscure names, what they do is explained on that textures page. Don't let the explanation for a texture force you to use only that and stop you from tyring other things.
