The Campaign Cartographer installation program is very robust across a wide
range of DOS platforms. In the unlikely event that you have problems, these
instructions tell you how to perform a manual installation.

Before doing so you, however, you must understand that by installing Campaign
Cartographer, no matter what method you use, you agree to accept the terms of
the Licence Agreement contained in the Campaign Cartographer User's Manual. If
you have not read the Licence Agreement or you do not understand it then
please do not install or attempt to use Campaign Cartographer.

To manually install Campaign Cartographer:

1 Create a directory for Campaign Cartographer on your hard disk using
	the DOS command MKDIR (MD):

	e.g. MKDIR C:\CC

2 Insert the Campaign Cartographer Install Disk in your floppy drive and
then make that drive current by typing A: or B: and then pressing ENTER

3 Type LICENCE then press ENTER and follow the on-screen instructions.

4 Use the DOS COPY command to transfer the contents of the Install Disk to
the Campaign Cartographer directory you created in step 1:

	e.g. COPY A:\*.* C:\CC

5 Make your hard disk the current drive and change to your Campaign
	Cartographer directory:

	e.g. C:
		 CD\CC

6 Type CCINST to decompress the Campaign Cartographer files

7 Type CCSETUP and configure the hardware settings

8 Type PRINT READY.MSG for instructions on running CC
