Super Ellipsoid - Beta 15.08.1996

Programming : Cuneyt Ozdas
Design support: Sinan Vural

Super Ellipsoid is a superset of sphere. This means that sphere and some other objects
can be created by the same formula. By changing the parameters called S1 and S2 you can
get a wide array of primitives which smoothly transform into each other.

These include:
- Cube
- Octahedron
- Sphere
- Cylinder

All the objects you create have the same vertex and face count. Just click the "Animate" button
and change the parameters. The pivot point of the object created is at its center. So if you try
to apply a modifier like "Bend", you might want to move the pivot point to the base.

In upcoming releases there will be:
1. Hemi option to create half objects, which you might need.
2. Mapping parameters (sorry for the inconvenience).
3. Pivot point selection: center or bottom.

The S1 and S2 parameters are limited between 0 and 10 which is more than enough.

Recommended settings:

S1:	S2:	Geometry:
---	---	---------
1.0	1.0	Sphere
0.0	1.0	Cylinder
0.0	0.0	Cube
2.0	2.0	Octahedron
4.0	0.0	Double square tents bottom to bottom
4.0	1.0	Double circle tents bottom to bottom
1.5	1.5	Very smooth octahedron
0.5	0.5	Very smooth cube
0.5	1.0	Very smooth cylinder

Feel free to distribute. Comments and suggestions are welcome. This is a beta release, so use it at
your own risk.
