Draw -> Convert to Face

The Draw -> Convert to Face command in the Model module converts a closed curve into a face, which is an object that can be rendered.

For a description of faces, see the Creating Faces section of the Modelling User's Guide.

Procedure

1. Select a curve.

2. To close the curve, choose the Draw -> Open/Close command.

3. Choose the Draw -> Convert to Face command.

Note:: The original curve is deleted unless it is already being used as an animation path, a path of extrusion, or for curve deformation.
