You can also constrain one object to many, which results in the average orientation being used.
For example, you can make a group of cheerleaders' heads all move in sync by animating one head, and then constraining the orientation of all the others to this head.

2. Choose the Constraint -> Orientation command.
3. Pick the object to act as a constraint.
The constraining object flashes red.
4. Select the constraining object and rotate it as desired.
The constrained object also rotates.
