Skeleton -> Show Critical Zone
The Skeleton -> Show Critical Zone command in the Actor module is a toggle that allows you to automatically view the regions where the general orientation (or resolution plane) of the chain changes rapidly when you move the effector into those areas (the joint flips).
For more information, see the Constraining Joints and Effectors section of the Animating User's Guide.
Skeleton -> Show Critical Zone is on by default. Choose this command to select or deselect it.
- Note:
- The critical zone is blue when the default preferred axis of rotation is used, or when a Preferred Axis constraint is applied to the chain. The critical zone is green when an Up Vector constraint is applied to the chain.
