

Menu Cells
Show
The Show menu cell is available in all modules except Tools. It contains a set of toggle commands that are used to show or hide specific items in your scene, or modify their display.
Some operations automatically toggle these selections on or off, as described in Displaying and Hiding Elements of the Modelling User's Guide.
Point
Shows or hides control points for the selected object. Show -> Point is off by default.
Line
Shows or hides control lines for the selected object. Show -> Line is off by default.
Centre
Shows or hides the centre for the selected object. Show -> Centre is off by default.
Null
Shows or hides the null parent of the selected hierarchy. Show -> Null is on by default.
Normal
Shows or hides surface normals for the selected object. Show -> Normal is off by default.
Tag
Shows or hides tagged points. Show -> Tag is off by default.
Link
Shows or hides parent links between objects in a selected hierarchy. The link is shown as white line from the centre of the parent object to the centre of its child(ren). Show -> Link is off by default.

- You can also view links between objects and other elements from the Schematic window.
Cone
Shows or hides the outline representing the area shown by the camera view or the area covered by the cone of the selected spotlight. Show -> Cone is off by default. If the interest of the spotlight is selected, this command also displays the cone of the light.
Lattice
Shows or hides the lattice for selected objects. Show -> Lattice is on by default.
Polygon
Shows or hides the currently selected coloured polygons. Show -> Polygon is off by default.
Edge Flags
Shows or hides visible or hidden edges. For curves and surface objects, these are defined automatically upon creation. For polygons, you can define them with the Edge_Flag command in the Matter module. Show -> Edge Flags is off by default.
Surface
When this command is off, it displays the control mesh of patch and NURBS surface objects. Show -> Surface is on by default.
Skeleton
Shows or hides articulated chains in a skeleton. Show -> Skeleton is on by default. If you add a new chain while the command is off, it is automatically toggled on.
Controls
Shows or hides dynamic control icons, such as gravity, wind, or nails, as well as bounding models and joint area guides. Show -> Controls is on by default.
Modified Area
When this command is on, it highlights the area on the selected object that is affected by editing operations such as proportional editing. Show -> Modified Area is off by default.
Point (Unselected)
Shows or hides points for unselected objects. Show -> Point (Unselected) is off by default.
Line (Unselected)
Shows or hides lines for unselected objects. Show -> Line (Unselected) is off by default.
Tag (Unselected)
Shows or hides tagged points for unselected objects. Show -> Tag (Unselected) is off by default.
Cone (Unselected)
Displays the cone of a camera (whether it is selected or not), and the cone of an unselected spotlight. Show -> Cone (Unselected) is off by default.
