Menu Cells

Shell

The Shell menu cell in the Tools module opens a window shell for typing commands without exiting the SOFTIMAGE 3D program.

Procedure

1. Choose the Shell menu cell. A shell opens in which you can type commands as you would outside of SOFTIMAGE 3D.

2. To exit the shell, type logout in it or press Ctrl-d on the keyboard.
