Mat_Oper -> Optimize Selected

The Mat_Oper -> Optimize Selected command in the Matter module optimizes the use of selected saved materials in a scene by merging those that are similar and sharing them between the models.

Procedure

1. Open a Schematic window and select the Matter mode.

2. In the Schematic window, select the materials to be merged.

3. Choose the Mat_Oper -> Optimize Selected command.

The number of materials merged is displayed in the status line

Note:: Materials with shaders are not optimized.
