Effect -> PolygonFilter

The Effect -> PolygonFilter command in the Model module allows you to clean up polygon mesh models. This is particularly useful before or after a polygon reduction. A variety of options let you control the form of the output and the filtering method used. Although the Filter effect does not apply any reduction algorithms, some of its options may result in a reduced model.

You can also use this effect by selecting the Filter option of the Polygon Reduction effect. The Polygon Reduction effect combines the Rule Based, Optimization Based, and Filter effects.

You should use Effect -> PolygonFilter if you are certain that you do not need the other reduction options. Otherwise, you should use Effect -> PolygonReduction.
