Duplicate -> Expand All

The Duplicate -> Expand All command is available in all modules except Tools. It replaces the selected instance with a duplicate of the whole hierarchy of its master object. This command expands all levels of the master. As a result, no more instances remain.

The operation cuts the instantiation link to the masters and creates all the necessary data structures of the duplicates.

Procedure

1. Select one or more instance (using either the Single or Multi menu cell).

2. Choose the Duplicate -> Expand All command.

3. In the Schematic window, all instances within the hierarchy of the master are replaced by the hierarchy of their masters.
