Draw -> Splines2Faces

The Draw -> Splines2Faces command in the Model module allows you to convert a hierarchy of curves (splines) into a hierarchy of faces in a single step. The Splines2Faces effect also recognizes curves within curves in the hierarchy and creates corresponding faces with holes in the result. This is typically used in conjunction with the Get -> Eps2Soft and bevelling effects.

Procedure

1. Create a hierarchy of curves.

Note:

All elements of the hierarchy must be in the same plane to achieve the expected result. However, for more "interesting" results, the hierarchy elements can be in any plane.

2. Choose the Draw -> Splines2Faces command in the Model module.

3. Pick any curve in the hierarchy.

The new hierarchy of faces is created.
