McAfee WebCrypto and PCCrypto Export Restrictions !!

McAfee's WebCrypto and PCCrypto are approved by the U.S. Department of
State and U.S. Department of Commerce as mass merchandise software 
regulated under a General Software Note (GSN).  This allows the 
distribution of the 40-bit PC1 encryption functionality as long as 
the user agrees to abide by the following statements.

1. You or your company is not on the US Treasury list of specified
designated nationals.

2. You or your company is not on the US Commerce Department denied
persons list.

3. Neither you nor your company shall export or reexport the Software 
from the United States except in compliance with U.S. export control 
laws, including as applicable, obtaining appropriate licensing
authority from the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Treasurey 
and U.S. Department of Commerce, and shall comply in all other respects 
with U.S. export control laws.

4. None of the software or underlying information or technology will be 
downloaded or otherwise exported (1) into (or to a national or resident 
of) Cuba, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Iran, Sudan or Syria, or to any other
country subject to U.S. Treasury Department embargo, or (2) to anyone on 
the U.S. Treasury Department list of specially designated nationals or 
the U.S. Department of Commerce Table of Denial Orders. 

5. You represent that neither you nor your company are located in, are 
under control of or are a national or resident of any of the countries 
listed in Section C immediately above.


Note: WebCrypto and PCCrypto are distributed with the following encryption 
functionality controlled by US ITAR rules.

a. Proposed licensee is a U.S. person, a permanent resident or a corporation
in the United States or Canada.  Both 160-bit blowfish and 40-bit PC1 encryption 
functionality is enabled.  Software is available at retail stores or via shipment 
from McAfee to a valid U.S. or Canadian address.  On-line order forms can be located 
at http://www.mcafee.com, proposed licensee must abide by the five statements above.

b. Proposed licensee is a foreign person, a foreign corporation, business association
or other foreign entity that is not incorporated or organized to do business in the 
United States or Canada.  40-bit PC1 encryption functionality is enabled.  Software is 
available on-line (http://www.mcafee.com) if the proposed licensee abides by the five
statements above.  The software may be available in some international retail locations.

c. An evaluation version can be downloaded (http://www.mcafee.com) by a person that 
abides by the five statements above, the 40-bit PC1 encryption functionality is enabled.
