 KNOWN INCOMPATIBILITIES
*************************

 A. Diamond Viper and ATI Graphics Ultra Pro Video Cards: If you
use one of these cards, and choose to run with 16 colors at
high resolution (800x600 or above), the SmartDesk screen does
not display correctly. You can switch to 256 colors (or more)
using the utilities provided by the video card manufacturer to
correct this.

 B. High Resolution Video Cards: On some high resolution video
cards running with 256 colors or greater, the displayed
colors may be incorrect in other applications after running
Managing Your Money. Restarting the other application
corrects this condition.

 C. Windows 95/Windows NT users: New Win95 or Windows NT users
will not be able to use the Clock and Calendar features in
Managing Your Money. The Clock.exe and Calendar.exe files are
no longer included in these Windows installations. If Win95 or
Windows NT is installed as an upgrade from Windows 3.x these
features will be available, but users must reconfigure the path
statements under Tools-Menu Setup in MYM.

 D. Print Checks:
    1. Citizen 180D printers and some Panasonic
printers do not print multiple pin-feed checks correctly with
the Windows printer drivers that were available at the release
of Bank of America's HomeBanking with Managing Your Money.
You can either print one check at a time, or set the printer
up to emulate another printer such as an Epson, and then use
that driver.
    2. Users may experience Memory Underwrite errors
when modifying margin settings on address fields in Check Setup.
This only occurs when running Bank of America's HomeBanking with
Managing Your Money Version 2.10 under Windows 95.
    3. HP Deskjet 500 driver may produce check alignment
problems when running under Windows 95. Replacing the
Hp Deskjet 500 driver with the Hp Deskjet 510 driver should
rectify the problem.

 E. Errors: If you receive an error message which reads "General
Application Error" please record what you were doing when
when the error occurred, and then contact technical support.
This is NOT the same as a Windows General Protection Fault.

*******************
 DISPLAYING GRAPHS
*******************

Bank of America's HomeBanking with Managing Your Money uses
a program called GSW.EXE to display graphs. If another
application which uses GSW.EXE is installed AFTER the
installation of Bank of America's HomeBanking with
Managing Your Money, you may be unable to display graphs.
(The other program may use an older version
of GSW.EXE.) You would need to reinstall Bank of America's
HomeBanking with Managing Your Money to correct this.

*************************************************
CONVERTING FROM MYMWIN (V1 or V2) to BofA's MYM
*************************************************

 A. Preference Settings: BofA's MYM V2.1 stores most of your
preferences (passwords, start-up settings, etc.) in a
separate file for each dataset. In MYMWIN V1, preferences
for all datasets are stored in a single file. This means
that any preference settings you used will not be converted
from MYMWIN V1. Please re-enter them by selecting Preferences
from the File menu. Settings remain in effect for all
datasets unless you change them.
Converting from MYM versions 2.0, 2.0a or retail 2.10:
Preferences Settings are converted.

 B. Check Printing: Custom Check Forms created in MYMWIN V1 will
convert. However, the first time you print checks after
conversion you will be asked to choose the check form again.

 C. Versions 2.0 and 2.0a were not able to convert Version 1
Memorized Reports. BofA's MYM version 2.10 will now convert
Versions 2.0 and 2.0a Memorized Reports.

 IMPORT
********

A. Managing Your Money for DOS, Versions 9, 10, 11 and 12:

1. If you are running SHARE.EXE, you may experience
problems importing MYM DOS data. If you have DOS 6.22 or
Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups, you can remove
SHARE.EXE from your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and add
DEVICE=VSHARE.386 to the [386Enh] section of your Windows
SYSTEM.INI file. Alternately, you can change the following
settings in your DOS system files: add or change the line
containing Share /f:(number) where (number) is 8192 or
larger, in your AUTOEXEC.BAT and change your
FILES=(number)statement in your CONFIG.SYS file to
FILES=100.

2. Do not run MYM DOS while you are importing MYM DOS data
into BofA's MYM. BofA's MYM needs to open MYM DOS files to
import.

3. If you are running Diamond's Stealth 64 video program,
In Control, please close it while importing. This program
may cause import to fail or the data to not import properly.

4. Transaction sorting: We recommend that you sort your
MYM DOS transactions (payments, deposits, etc.) in DATE
order prior to import. The import order will be the MYM
DOS sort order. You can re-sort the transaction
register at any time after import.

5. Portfolios: A Portfolio account which has a linked
money account is MERGED with the linked money account
during import and is imported into an Investment account.
Income transactions in the Money account must match the
Portfolio transaction to import correctly. If the
Portfolio account is unlinked, income transactions recorded
in the money account will import, as long as the required
information (Date, Symbol, Amount) matches in both the
Money and Portfolio account. You may also link your
unlinked Portfolio Accounts and delete and re-enter the
income transactions in the Money account. If you are using
MYM11, you can link the account and use Alt-F3 to move the
transactions.

If you have imported Income transactions into MYM DOS from
PCFN, they will not import into BofA's MYM. PCFN uses the
CUSIP number instead of the Symbol on Income transactions
and import will not be able to match the income with the
correct symbol.

MYM DOS removes the prior years Income transactions during
COPY. If you have Reinvested Dividends whose corresponding
income transactions were removed during COPY, these will
import as BUYS instead of REINVESTS. You will need to
delete them in BofA's MYM and re-add them as REINVESTS.

Before Importing, check your Assets for data in the Price
Objective, Mental Stop Loss and Maturity Date fields. If
there is anything in these fields a Reminder will be
created in BofA's MYM for these items during Import.

MYM DOS Version 12: Return on Investment Old Income entries
are not imported into MYM version 2.10. Disregard the error
message generated in the MYM Import log concerning this.

6. Loans: The Amortization Schedule for loans displays
ONLY from the current payment FORWARD. Earlier payments
are in their respective bank accounts, but do not show in
the Amortization Schedule. Principal amounts in Quick List
or Alert List loan payments are allocated to the loan
account itself, not to the principal category, as in
MYM DOS. MYMWIN's allocation of the loan principal
provides a more accurate picture of your assets and
liabilities.

BofA's MYM imports the budgets for loans from MYM DOS. In
BofA's MYM, when you auto-budget a loan, the principal is
budgeted to a Loan Account and the Interest and Escrows to
categories. If you choose to auto-budget imported Loans, you
will first need to delete the imported budgets from their
categories to avoid doubling the Interest budget amounts.
The Auto-budget will pick up from the next payment forward.

Special and Interest Only Loans do not import from MYM DOS;
however, their associated transactions and payees do. If
you are setting up these Loans in BofA's MYM, and want to use
the same name as you do in MYM DOS, you must first rename
the existing Payee, apply the name to all past payments,
and then re-add the loan with the correct Payee name. If
the Special/Interest Only Loan is a CheckFree loan, the
memorized transaction and Electronic Payee do import. You
will only have to re-add the loan and attach to the correct
Electronic Payee.

Negative Escrows: BofA's MYM does not support Negative
Escrows. We suggest you change these after import to
positive to avoid errors in your data.

7. CMA Accounts: CMA accounts and Money Market accounts
convert as "Other Asset" accounts in Managing Your Money
for Windows. If you use your CMA or Money Market account
as a checking account in the MYM DOS version, we recommend that
you set the type to "Checking" before import. This is
because "Other Asset" transactions in BofA's MYM are not
included in Bank Transaction reports. Please note that it
is NOT possible to change the account type after import.

8. Last Reconciled Balance: BofA's MYM does not import the
last reconciled balance from MYM DOS accounts. Instead, it
calculates this balance after import by totaling the
transactions marked reconciled on the register. If you
have manually marked a transaction as reconciled in MYM
DOS, your last reconciled balance may be different after
Import.

9. QuoteLink: The QuoteLink Only Import is no longer
necessary as QuoteLink is supported in BofA's MYM.

QuoteLink Login scripts are not imported from MYM DOS
because BofA's MYM uses different scripts. Please check your
login script after import if you had modified it in MYM DOS.

B. QIF Import: You can import QIF files produced by Quicken
for DOS, Quicken for Windows, MS Money and CA Simply Money:

1. Investment Transactions: QIF Investment transactions are
NOT imported into this version of Managing Your Money.

2. Account and Category Lists: We strongly recommend that
you export your account and category lists to separate QIF
files and import them prior to importing your transactions.
The Import procedure prompts you for these files first.
Select "New Account" and create a new, temporary account for
your account list with a balance of $0.00. Then import your
category list into the same temporary account.
After you are through importing, delete the temporary
account. After you have completed this step, you must still
import the transactions for each account, from a separate
QIF file for each account. If you choose not to import the
account list first, you may find transactions in wrong accounts,
accounts labeled with the wrong type, or duplicate accounts
with similar names.

3. CA-Simply Money: You must export a QIF file for each
account separately for Managing Your Money to import it
correctly. CA-Simply Money defaults to exporting ALL accounts
into a single QIF file. To correct this, select "Strict QIF"
on the Simply Money export screen, then select the Include
button, highlight a SINGLE account, and complete the export.
Repeat this step for each account.

4. Transfer Transactions in CA-Simply Money: Transfer
transactions are not imported. They are noted in the
import log file (QIFIMPRT.LOG) that is created at the end
of the import process so that you can see the list of
transactions you need to re-enter in Managing Your Money.

5. Account Allocations in CA-Simply Money: Account
allocations are not correctly exported from CA-Simply Money
and will import as "Unallocated Income" or "Unallocated
Expense." You can re-allocate these transactions in Managing
Your Money for Windows.

6. Duplicate Transactions: We strongly recommend that you
check the "Check for Duplicate Transactions" box on the
import screen. This prevents transfer transactions from being
imported into BOTH accounts.

7. Addresses: Only the first three address lines are imported.

8. Memorized Transactions: All memorized transactions are
imported as UNSCHEDULED. You can change this in Managing
Your Money by editing the transaction on the Memorized
Transaction List.

**********
 FEATURES
**********

 A. Liability Accounts: Credit Card accounts, "Other Liability"
accounts, and Loans are handled differently in Managing Your
Money for Windows than in Managing Your Money for DOS.
These accounts show a POSITIVE balance when you OWE money,
and a NEGATIVE balance when you are OWED money (for example,
when you overpay VISA one month).

 B. Reports: Reports which are dependent on date ranges, such as
transaction reports, default to a "Year to Date" range. This
includes "ZOOM" reports. If you get a message that says "No
data is available for this report," check the date range you
have selected. "ZOOM" reports always use Year to Date; you
can not set the date range.
Version 2.10: You can now "ZOOM" on a payee from the Payee List
and the report will use a default date range of all available.
This means that the report will now display previous year's
transactions for a selected payee.

 C. Loans: The screen to use for editing existing loans is the
Amortization Schedule screen. You can change the account,
principal and interest amounts, and escrows all from this
screen.

 D. QuoteLink: If you are experiencing a problem when trying to
download security prices via QuoteLink, then you may have to
modify the QuoteLink login script to successfully download
security prices. The problem seems to be most prevalent if you
are using the SprintNet/Telenet service, but may also occur with
some of the other services. The solution to the problem is to
change the default login script to include "^S;TTY" after the "^U".
Therefore, the login scripts should read as follows:

MYMQUO: *^U^S;TTY^M^WPASSWORD:^P^M^WOK^W!SGO CIS:
	MYMQUO^M^WINTERFACE:^120^M^W:

MYMQINT: *^U^S;TTY^M^WPASSWORD:^P^M^WOK^W!SGO CIS:
	MYMQINT^M^WINTERFACE:^120^M^W:

Making this modification may also get rid of some of the other
characters that get displayed when you have the display call
progress enabled.

 E. Taxes: TaxCut '95 does not import the following tax
categories. However, the categories do appear in the TXF
file that BofA's MYM exports.

Token Description
----- -----------
283 Home Mortgage Int.1098 (Schedule A)
284 Points Paid (Schedule A)
382 Automobile Expense (Form 2106)
433 Gross Profit Percentage (Form 6252)
438 IRA Value at End of Year (Form 8606)
487 Dividend Income Non-taxable (Schedule B)
488 Dividend Income Capital Gain Distribution (Schedule B)

To export the following Tax Categories to tax software, you
must first create both a "Buy" transaction and a "Sell"
transaction for the asset/liability involved:

Token Description
----- -----------
321 ST gain/loss-security (Schedule D)
322 ST gain/loss-security (Schedule D)
323 LT gain/loss-security (Schedule D)
324 LT gain/loss-security (Schedule D)
419 LT dep. loss-business (Form 4797)
420 LT dep gain-business (Form 4797)
421 ST dep prop-business (Form 4797)
422 LT dep loss-res. rent (Form 4797)
423 LT dep gain-res. rent (Form 4797)
424 ST dep prop-res. rent (Form 4797)

We support only one copy of Form W-2. Because of this,
when TaxCut imports the following items for both "Self"
and "Spouse," the "Spouse" information replaces the "Self"
information.

Self W-2 Item Spouse W-2 Item that
			     overwrites self item
------------- --------------------
460 Salary 506 Salary Spouse
461 Federal Withholding 507 Federal Withholding Spouse
462 Soc Sec Tax Withholding 508 Soc Sec Tax Withholding
				 Spouse
463 Local Withholding 509 Local Withholding Spouse
464 State Withholding 511 State Withholding Spouse
480 Medicare Tax Withholding 510 Medicare Withholding Spouse
465 Dependent Care Benefits 512 Dependent Care Benefits Spouse

If you use both the IRA Contribution Spouse (Token 481)
and the IRA Contribution, non-working spouse (Token 482)
tax categories, the latter will overwrite the former upon
import into TaxCut. However, this is not likely to occur,
since a spouse who worked at some time during the year
would not qualify as a non-working spouse.

F. Archiving Data: If you Archive for a specified date range
more than once in the same time period, your previous budget
values(from the first Archive) will be overwritten. Be sure
to backup your data if you have a need to repeat an Archive
session for the same time period to ensure these values remain
intact.
