* Install

To install Becky!, follow the procedure.

1) Extract Becky's ZIP archive into a temporary folder.

2) Run Setup.EXE

3) Specify the folder you want to install Becky!.
   Default is "C:\Program Files\RIMArts\Rebecca\".

4) When the installation is finished, you can see the folder window
   which contains installed files. (under Windows95)
   "Rebecca.EXE" is the executable file of Becky!.

5) If you want to create a shortcut for Becky!,
   5-1) Select "Rebecca.EXE" on the folder you installed.
   5-2) Push the right mouse button on it and drag to the desktop.
   5-3) Release the button and select "Create Shortcut(s) Here".
   5-4) Rename the title of the shortcut as "Becky! Internet Mail"
        (or whatever you like ;-) ).

6) When you run Rebecca.EXE for the first time, you will be prompted to
   specify the root mail folder. Mail sub folders and some other system
   files are created under this folder.

Note:
- You can delete extracted files in the temporary folder after the
   installation.
- Please read README.TXT, LICENCE.TXT, and SHARE.TXT before using Becky!.

* Uninstall

To uninstall Becky!, follow the procedure.

1) Select "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control panel.

2) Select "Becky! Internet Mail" in the list and click "Add/Remove" button.


Note:
- Mail folders which you created including mail items are not deleted
  by the uninstallation. If you do not need those mail files, delete them
  manually.
- You can install and run Becky! under Windows NT 3.51. However, some
  functions such as "Explore the attachment folder" does not work, and
  uninstallation is not supported. So, if you want to uninstall Becky! on
  NT 3.51, 1) delete the folder you installed Becky!, then 2) Delete the
  registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIMArts\Rebecca" including sub
  keys using RegEdt32.EXE.
