		FreeList
		v0.1
		May 1996

FreeList is a dialer program for use with FreeVue teleconferencing.
With FreeList, you can participation in user lists, other than
the default FreeVue list.

Requirements
You need a copy of the FreeVue teleconferencing
	program:

		http://www.freevue.com/download.html

and also the address of a FreeList server...

Usage
Copy the FreeList program into the same directory as
	FreeVue.

Startup FreeVue first. When FreeVue is running, start
	FreeList.

To connect to a FreeList server:
Click 'Connect' from the menu bar
Enter the address for the server in the 'Server:'
			box
Select a handle to use on the list, and enter
			in the 'Handle:' box
If you are connecting to a 'closed' list, place
the list's access code in the 'Access:'
box; otherwise, leave the box empty.

		Click 'OK'

When you have connected to the list server, a login
message will be displayed at the top of the FreeList
window. Click the 'REFRESH' button to get the current
	user list.

	To place a call, double-click on a name in the list;
or click 'CALL' to call the selected name. To cancel
	a call, click 'CANCEL'.

Problems
If you have a problem with 'CALL', try the alternate
calling method: hold down the 'ALT' key while you
make the call. This sends the call command to the
remote computer; you won't hear the call being placed
	locally...

FreeList Server
With the FreeList server software, you can setup your own
userlist. All that is required is an HTTP server capable of
	running a C-shell CGI script...
