* The .INI file is used to get initial paths every time the save and
  open dialog boxes are used.
* Allow all types of supported documents to be opened using the
  document edit feature.

* Fixed a problem dealing with opening a system specified on the
  command line.

  initial path in the .INI file to use a local directory did not
  set the initial path in the dialog correctly.

* Fill-in queries now use a multi-line edit controls for single-line
  input.  This allows fill-ins to be left, center or right justified.

  creating edit controls to prevent crashing.

* Changed printer document title from "WinCAPS Document" to "Document".
* Forced a 1" left print margin if the left margin defaulted
  to 0.  (For printing browse text frames)
* Changed the auto-scroll rate for extending mouse selections.
* Changed the clipboard format name from "WinCAPS 1.0" to "Capsoft Custom".
* Replaced the message box that appeared when an invalid character
  was typed with a beep.
* Fixed menus to return to its previous "state".

2/15/96
* Fixed GPF caused when the ENTER key activated the default push button
  and the queries on the frame change due to a rebuild.  Now the ENTER
  is ignored in that situation.

2/16/96
* A single left mouse click will no longer select resource references
  on a frame, menu, step or system screen.  A double left mouse click
  is required.
* Fixed the alignment problem with left justified selection prompts
  that contain an ampersand.
* Disabled "ctrl N" and "ctrl Y" from selecting unrelated and optional
  selection queries.  There was a conflict with the "new answers" command.
* The wincaps executable program was modifed to use a string in the
  resource file as the application name.
* Fixed the rounding error that occurred when rounding a negative number.
* Allowed accelerator keys to work on dialogs in Preferences and on
  Interview menus.
* Prevented the buttons option dialog from being put in the background
  by clicking on the practice system dialog.
* Added a Word Processor button to the open documents window.

* Fixed a problem with the font in Windows NT on popup buttons displayed
in frames.
* Fixed a problem with retrieving WordPerfect 6.x text contains footnotes
and endnotes.

* Answers in fill-in queries are not re-highlighted after issuing
commands from the menu, toolbar, or clicking on them with the mouse.
* The buttons on multi-page frames are now correctly highlighted
after clicking on the resource button.
* RTF conversion has dramatically changes.
  1. Current RTF codes within CAPS may convert using the current method
     without modification but it is not guaranteed.  You may need to
     retrieve your text into your system again.
  2. You may choose to retain RTF codes or discard them.
  3. The following RTF groups are considered non-editable: Font table,
     Colortable, File table, Style Sheet, Bookmarks, Pictures,
     Paragraph numbering definition, OLE objects, Drawing objects,
     and items defined in RTF fields.
  4. The following RTF control words are alwas converted: End paragraph,
     Bold on/off, Strike on/off, Page breaks, Required line breaks,
     Backslash, Open/Closing brace, and Hex character.

* Essay query margins are fixed.
* Added a work around for some HP printer drivers.
* Changed the mapping of characters sent to the printer via the
Windows printer drivers.
* Focus is now correctly set when returning from a program that was
synchronously run from CAPS.
* The "CAPS Waiting..." dialog was not closed in some cases when a
program was synchronously executed. The only way out was to reboot.
* Change RTF conversion so files woulld not be incorrectly truncated.

* Edit controls always start in insert mode.
* The outline element was not displayed when asked from a dialogue.
* WP Type=Word for Windows 6.0/7.0 was incorrectly added to the INI file.  It
should be Wp Type=Word for Windows 6.0.

* A data truncating problem causing CAPS to write corrupted RTF
files was fixed.

* A Menu problem with positioning by character typing has been corrected.
* Database lists where not correctly updated after running a resource.
* Character matching to a database index at a database list is functional.
* A problem with zooming queries and rebuilding frames has been fixed.

* The current item/position is preserved when zooming an essay,
outline or standard list.
* Zooming problems with a database list have been resolved.

* Added a text code [wp=<0-9>] where <0-9> indicates the file format
override when the document is assembled to an external word processor.
* Unrelated and optional selection queries were not using the specified
field format information for true/false display characters.

list dialogue where the frame requires rebuilding.

* Alt-keypad keystrokes were not working properly if the NumLock was on.

area of some printers.
