1.	LOADING ALDUS GALLERY EFFECTS 1.5.1, VOLUME 1 PLUG-IN FILTERS INTO
ALDUS PHOTOSTYLER 1.1 AND 1.1a; 1.1 SPECIAL EDITION; AND 1.1a SPECIAL
EDITION
-------------------------------------------------------------

Install Gallery Effects 1.5.1 following the procedure in the Aldus
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 User Manual. After you install Gallery Effects
1.5.1, move the PLUG_IN directory to the PSTYLER directory and change
all .8BF extensions to .EFF; or move the contents to the PLUG_IN
directory under the PSTYLER directory (or create a new directory with
that name, if you dont have one) and change the file extensions to
.EFF.

-------------------------------------------------------------
2.	MANUALLY LOADING ALDUS GALLERY EFFECTS 1.5.1, VOLUME 1 PLUG-IN
FILTERS INTO ALDUS PHOTOSTYLER 2.0, AND 2.0 SPECIAL EDITION*
-------------------------------------------------------------

Install Gallery Effects 1.5.1 following the procedure in the Aldus
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 User Manual. If you clicked Manual during
installation, you need to add a line to the ULEAD.INI file that points
PhotoStyler to the directory where the Gallery Effects 1.5.1 filters are
located.
1.	In File Manager, open the PLUG_IN directory in the
CLASSIC1.GE directory to verify that it contains the
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 plug-in filters, and then close the
directory.
2.	Open the ULEAD.INI file in the Windows directory and
locate the heading [PLUG IN]. If this heading doesnt
exist, go to the end of the file and type it on a new
line. After the heading and on a new line, type
PLUGINDIRx=C:\CLASSIC1.GE\PLUG_IN. If your filters are
located in more than one directory, you can add up to
nine lines, just remember to increment the numbers in
each line (in PLUGINDIRx where x represents a numeral
from 1 to 9 that is not already used).
3.	Save changes to the ULEAD.INI file.
4.	Restart PhotoStyler for the changes to take effect.

*	Or if you install Aldus PhotoStyler 2.0a after installing
Gallery Effects 1.5.1, follow the above procedure.

-------------------------------------------------------------
3.	MANUALLY LOADING ALDUS GALLERY EFFECTS 1.5.1, VOLUME 1 PLUG-IN
FILTERS INTO ALDUS PHOTOSTYLER 2.0a, AND 2.0a SPECIAL EDITION*
-------------------------------------------------------------

Install Gallery Effects 1.5.1 following the procedure in the Aldus
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 User Manual. Aldus PhotoStyler 2.0a automatically
enters a valid path to Gallery Effects 1.5 plug-in filters, but not to
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 plug-in filters. After you install Gallery Effects
1.5.1, add a line to the ULEAD.INI file that points PhotoStyler to the
directory where the Gallery Effects 1.5.1 filters are located.
1.	In File Manager, open the CLASSIC1.GE directory in the
PLUG_IN directory to verify that it contains the Gallery
Effects 1.5.1 plug-in filters, and then close the
directory.
2.	Open the ULEAD.INI file in the Windows directory and
locate the heading [PLUG IN]. After the heading and on a
new line, type PLUGINDIRx=C:\CLASSIC1.GE\PLUG_IN. If
your filters are located in more than one directory, you
can add up to nine lines, just remember to increment the
numbers in each line (in PLUGINDIRx where x represents
a numeral from 1 to 9 that is not already used).
3.	If you do not have any of the Gallery Effects 1.5 plug-in
filters and have more than nine lines under the [PLUG IN]
heading, or you do not want to use the Gallery Effects
1.5 plug-in filters in PhotoStyler, delete one or more of
the following three lines:
		PLUGINDIR1=C:\classic.ge\ge_pouch\plug_in
		PLUGINDIR2=C:\classic2.ge\ge_pouch\plug_in
		PLUGINDIR3=C:\classic3.ge\ge_pouch\plug_in
4.	Save changes to the ULEAD.INI file.
5.	Restart PhotoStyler for the changes to take effect.

*	Or if you install Aldus PhotoStyler 2.0a after installing
Gallery Effects 1.5.1, follow the above procedure.

-------------------------------------------------------------
4.	PROBLEMS MODIFYING THE ULEAD.INI FILE
-------------------------------------------------------------

If you get an error message entitled Cannot modify ULEAD.INI when
automatically loading Aldus Gallery Effects 1.5.1, Volume 1 plug-in
filters into Aldus PhotoStyler, or if you are manually loading the
filters and have problems, check the number of lines under the [PLUG IN]
heading. If the ULEAD.INI file already has nine lines under the [PLUG
IN] heading, you must remove a line you dont need in order to make
space for a line that points PhotoStyler to the directory where the
Gallery Effects 1.5.1 filters are located.
1.	In File Manager, open the CLASSIC1.GE directory to verify
that it contains the Gallery Effects 1.5.1 plug-in
filters, and then close the directory.
2.	Open the ULEAD.INI file in the Windows directory and
locate the heading [PLUG IN]. Determine which line is no
longer valid (because the filters are no longer in that
directory or in the computer), and then delete it.
3.	Type in a new line: PLUGINDIRx=C:\CLASSIC1.GE\PLUG_IN
(x represents a numeral from 1 to 9 that is not already
used).
4.	Save changes to the ULEAD.INI file.
5.	Restart PhotoStyler for the changes to take effect.
