Installation Instructions
-------------------------

The installation program creates a new directory on your hard drive and
copies the Internet Coach for Netscape Navigator program files into the
new directory.  Then the installation program creates a Windows program
group and icon for Internet Coach.

Step 1.
     Run Windows.
Step 2.
     Insert Program Disk 1 into A: drive.

          Note: These directions assume you are starting the installation
          from a high-density A: drive.  If you are starting from a
          different drive, substitute the letter of that drive in 
          this procedure.

Step 3.
     At the Program Manager, pull down the File Menu and select Run.
Step 4.
     Type a:setup in the Command Line and press Enter. 
Step 5.
     A dialog box will appear with the default installation path,
     "C:\COACH".  Press Enter.
Step 6.
     Insert Disk 2 at the prompt.
Step 7.
     Insert Disk 3 at the prompt.
Step 8.
     Press Enter to complete the installation.


To run Internet Coach
---------------------

Double click the Internet Coach for Netscape icon in the Internet Coach
group on the Program Manager.


Customizing
-----------

You can customize the Resources module to include frequently used
URLs, e-mail addresses and other Internet information.  Create an ASCII
text file with the desired information and save the file as "rsource.txt".
Replace the default rsource.txt with the new ASCII file.  Then your
customized information will be immediately available in the
Resources module.

The maximum file size for the customized ASCII file is 32K. 

Creating an ASCII text file for Windows using Notepad

1.   Run Windows.

2.   Double click the icon Notepad located in the "Accessories" group of
     the Program Manager.

3.   Click "Edit" and verify that Word Wrap contains a check mark beside
     it.  If so, press Esc.  If not, select "Word Wrap".

4.   Type the text to be included in the text file.  Do not press Enter at
     the end of each line; your text will automatically word wrap.

5.   Click "File" and select "Save As".  A dialog box will appear.

6.   In the directory list box, click the directory containing the
     Internet Coach program files or select the directory and click "OK".

7.   Click the File Name text box and replace the default with
     "rsource.txt".  Press Enter.

8.   Click "Yes" to replace the existing "rsource.txt".

9.   Click "File" and select "Exit".
