Greetings!!

This version of Instant File Access is currently in wide beta release.  This
means the product is complete, but is not yet ready for full shareware
distribution.  DO NOT upload this version to other On-Line services or
Bulletin boards before the final release is posted.

Users of VERSION 3.00 of IFA do not have to re-register IFA.  Specify the current
installation directory of IFA when installing version 4.00, and your files will
be updated.  If for some reason you are asked to register, simply select 
"Register IFA..." from the IFA Desktop icon and enter the information from your
version 3.00 registration.

NOTICE TO WINDOWS 95 USERS: The final release of Instant File Access will support
long filenames under Windows 95. This means your 16 bit Windows 3.11
applications can open and save files using long names. Those long names will be
visible under Windows 95 as actual long names, not the alias as is done
currently.

The purpose of a WIDE BETA is so we can fully test the product BEFORE it is
released in the shareware world.  It is important that you let us know if
you find problems of any kind with IFA.  If you find that your system is
causing GPF type errors, start by unloading IFA and trying your system
again.  If the GPF errors go away, then a compatibility problem may exist
with IFA and the software you're using with it.

If you are currently using version 3.xx of IFA, this version will use the 
data files of that version and you don't have to re-register the software.

If you are currently using version 2.xx of IFA, this version will NOT use the
data files of that version, so you must reenter your registration information
after upgrading.
