limitation will be fixed in the released version of the product.

Tape Drive Compatability
========================
For a list of tape drives that are compatable with Norton Backup
for Windows 95 read the TAPES.TXT file on Disk 1 or the CDROM.
NOTE: For the initial Beta release, the Iomega Tape 510 and the
Conner TapeStor 1700 are not supported.

Problems with SCSI Devices
==========================

If you experience problems performing backups to SCSI devices,
you may need to update the ASPI drivers on your system. A batch
file has been included on Disk 2 and the CD-ROM for this purpose.

To update your system's ASPI drivers:

1. Restart your computer in MS-DOS mode.

2. Insert Disk 2 into your floppy drive or the CD-ROM
    into your CD-ROM drive.

3. At the DOS prompt, change directories to the ASPI directory
    on Disk 2 or the CD-ROM.

4. In the ASPI directory, type "ASPIUPD" and the location of your
    Windows 95 directory. For example,
    ASPIUPD C:\Windows.

5. After the batch file runs, restart Windows 95.

Problems backing up to SCSI 1 Devices:
======================================

Older tape mechanisms that rely on SCSI I are not supported.
Examples of these drives include the Tanberg 4100.

Backing up to Network Drives:
=============================

Systems equipped with SCSI tape drives may experience problems backing
up to network drives. In this situation, you must either remove
the SCSI card or back up to a non-network drive.
