1) Instructions for using the merge program:
If you have upgraded from a previous version of
SuperCharts and you have made entries into the
symbol universe, you may need to run the MERGE
utility included with SuperCharts. To run MERGE:
	      a) Exit fully out of SuperCharts and Datamanager.
	      b) From the Program Manager, click on File then
		 Run.
	      c) In this command line, you should type
		 C:\OMEGA\PROG\MERGE.EXE. (note: if you have
performed a custom installation and have
change the default directory structure, you
will have to type in the appropriate path
		 before the executable name.)
	      d) When the MERGE utility appears, you should
click on Merge then DialData. You will imme-
diately see a small box begin to display sym-
		 bols.
	      e) The merging could take a while depending on
the size of your DialData uni file. When the
merging is finished, simply click on Merge
then click on Exit and you can return to
		 SuperCharts.

2) Your old directory structure has been partially removed for
your convenience. Your SuperCharts work area has
been preserved as well as your SCDaily and Group
directories. The setup program should automatically
transfer datagroups and studies to your new Omega
directories. If, for some reason you cannot find
your datagroups, data, or custom studies, they
have all been saved in your previous SuperCharts
	      directories.

	      New Omega directory structure:

			C:OMEGA
				PROG
				HELP
				BBS
				DLYDATA
				DATAMAN
				SC
				BIFUNCS
				UNIVERSE
				GROUP

3) Share.EXE: The setup program should have added Share.EXE to
the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. If you are experiencing diffi-
culties loading data or editing symbol information,
you should make sure that this line (Share.EXE /L:200)
is being executed correctly in your Autoexec.bat file.
If this is the case, you can try modifying the line
to read Share.EXE /L:500. If this still does not
work, please call our tech. support dept.

4) The alert criteria for many of the indicators included with
SuperCharts 2.1 has been greatly extended. This will
cause the Auto-Analyst to generate a great deal more
alerts than in the past. The new alert criteria is
listed per indicator in Chap 17 of your User's manual.
Please refer to this guide for any questions you
might have regarding the new alert criteria.

5) The Intelli-Guide(TM) technology of SuperCharts 2.1 requires
a MaxBarsBack setting of 50 in order to build the
	      interpretive commentary. Therefore, the default
MaxBarsBack setting for all the included indicators has
been set to 50. However, any indicators previously
applied to any SuperCharts 2.0 pages will need to be
modified so that the MaxBarsBack setting is at least 50.
When you open a previously saved page with an indicator
having a MaxBarsBack setting of less than 50, a runtime
error will occur. To correct this, simply choose Analysis,
Indicator, highlight the indicator, click on the Status
button to toggle the status to ON and then click on the
Options button to set MaxBarsBack to 50. Then save the page.

6) Users upgrading from SuperCharts 2.0 will need to re-assign the
analysis techniques to the following EasyIcons: CCI, DMI,
OBV, PAR, VOL. See your reference manual to learn how to
assign indicators to EasyIcons. Also an input was added to
the Parabolic Indicator & System (to allow you to vary the
acceleration factor). Therefore, you will need to delete
the Parabolic indicator/system from any currently existing
	      chart and add it again.
