This product will run best under Windows 95 or Windows NT. This is a
32 bit game and will not preform to its fullest under the 16 bit
operating system of Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

If you have trouble with the sound you can look at the Help, About
screen for a WAV driver error. You should make sure that no other
programs have control of the WAV drivers before starting the game.

GAME UPDATES - You should unzip this file into your C:\GAMES\PBA
directory. If you want to you can remove one of the executables
included in this zip. GPBA.EXE is used with Win 3.1 and 3.11, PBA.EXE
is used in Win 95 and NT.

Version 1.10
 - Fixed the red zones on spin bar for the left handed bowlers.
 - Fixed the left handed check box in the edit bowler dialog box.
 - Fixed the left handed bowlers on the league teams. (You will need
   to resave your league teams and recreate the league to have this
   take affect)
 - Made the game a little harder to be 100% consistent.
 - Randomly place bowler position for intermediate bowlers on ball 1.
 - Randomly place bowler position for pro bowlers on both balls.
 - Randomly place target for pro bowlers on ball 1.
 - Added computer bowlers.
   New options in "New Bowler" and "Edit Bowler" dialog boxes.
   1) Computerized Bowler - This check box will make the computer
      play the game for this bowler.
   2) Minimum Score - This is the low end of what this bowler should
      score. This is not 100% it is only a guideline for the
      computer artificial intelligence. For a human bowler this value
      has no effect. This value should be between 50 and 250 and 50
      points lower than the maximum score.
   3) Maximum Score - This is the hi end used by the AI. This value
      should be between 100 and 300.
   4) Filename - This is the file where the computer bowler AI is
      stored. You can create new AI files by giving a human bowler a
      different filename. These start with "P" for pro and
      intermediate and "B" for beginner bowlers. If you create a new
      file you should bowl at least 10 games to store enough
      information for the computer to be able to bowl well. If you
      give your AI file to your friends and let them know what your
      low and hi games have been recently they can setup a computer
      bowler to bowl games for you. If you use the default AI
      filenames for your bowler and your computer bowlers they will
      learn from your throws.
   These computer players are not allowed to participate in a league
   game. This keeps people from setting up league teams with an
   unfair advantage.
 - New menu option "Save To Text File..." under "League" menu. This
   option will prompt for a filename where the entire current league
   data will be saved in a text format. This file can be printed or
   used to extract information needed by the league manager.
 - Updated the PBA.HLP help file.



