NOTES ON PROXY VERSION 1.5
=======================================================================

Major changes from prior versions of Proxy:

1 The Proxy Host TSR (PHOST.EXE) is now 9K in size, a reduction
of 75% from its previous size. PHOST.EXE now uses DPMS, an
extended memory driver that is included with WanderLink.

Note: If you don't use DPMS, then PHOST.EXE will be 38K.

2 The PHOST /B option was added to force reboot on disconnect.
This can be issued when PHOST is first loaded, or later on.
It cannot be undone once set (for security).

3 Because of the two changes above, PHBOOT.EXE and PHL.EXE are
now obsolete and are no longer shipped.

4 When running the Proxy Master (PROXY.EXE) over a new
WanderLink connection without accessing the network, Proxy
used to pause before it displayed the screen. This problem
	has been fixed.

Proxy Limitations in Windows 95
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proxy v1.5 has limited capabilities under Windows 95:

1 The Proxy Host will not work on a Windows 95 PC. Since it is
a TSR, the current PHOST.EXE will not enable you to control
       a Windows 95 PC.

2 The Proxy Master will run on a Windows 95 PC, but will only take
over a Proxy Host running DOS, or Proxy Server Host (NLM).

3 Certain Proxy Master key combinations, such as [Alt]-[Esc] or
[Ctrl]-[Esc] may not work properly in Windows 95.

NOTE: Funk Software is working on a fully Windows 95 compliant
version of Proxy. For more information, contact Funk Software and
we will notify when this version is available.

Configuring Windows for Workgroups 3.11 for use with Proxy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proxy v1.5 is fully compatible with Windows for Workgroups 3.11. In
order for Proxy to operate with Windows for Workgroups, you must
specify IPX/SPX Compatible Transport in NetWork Setup.
