=============================================
Release notes for
HeapAgent(tm) Trial version 2.0 for Window 95
=============================================

---------------------
Welcome to HeapAgent!
---------------------

Thanks for trying out the free trial version of HeapAgent
version 2.0. This is a fully functional version that works
on 32-bit Windows applications running on Win 95.

As soon as you load your application from HeapAgent,
HeapAgent begins transparently checking for memory errors.
And when HeapAgent finds an error, you'll have instant
access to a full array of heap diagnostic tools, including
your debugger, to help you track that sucker down and fix it.

For detailed information on how to use HeapAgent, including
a demonstration of how to use HeapAgent to find overwrites,
references to previously freed memory, double-frees, and
leakage, see the HeapAgent online help.

This trial software stops working on December 31, 1995.

--------------------
Installing HeapAgent
--------------------

Installation instructions
-------------------------

The HeapAgent setup program copies files from the
installation disk to your hard disk and creates a HeapAgent
program group in Program Manager.

To install HeapAgent:

1. Insert the HeapAgent installation disk into your disk
    drive.

2. Choose Run from the Start menu, and the Run dialog box
    appears.

3. At Open, enter the drive letter and "setup",
    for example:

      a:setup

4. Follow the screen instructions.

During setup, most HeapAgent files are copied to the
directory you specify. However, three DLL files are copied
to the Windows 95 system directory. These files MUST
remain in the system directory for HeapAgent to work.
