The objects contained in this directory were made by Scott
Kirvan with Impulse's Digimax 3D object digitizer and
finished up in Imagine.

The skull was made from a full size model and the original
digitizing only took about 4 hours. It was digitized in 4
main pieces (half each of the upper and lower cranium, face
bones, and jaw). The eye sockets, teeth and cheek bone were
added later by hand. All the pieces were sewn together and
given attributes in Imagine.

The Dodge Viper was made from a 1/25 scale model. It is one
of the first objects I did, so the digitizing went very
quickly but the fix up and smoothing took a long time. The
Viper is a good example of how few points are needed to get
the required detail.

The chest object that is included is one part of several that
I was working on that were originally part of a 12 inch vinyl
model. I had spent a couple of hours on the chest alone, and
included it here to show what the object looks like coming
directly off the digimax without being cleaned up in imagine.

The Digimax is available from Impulse for under $1000. For
