If the error persists, call Colorado Memory Systems Customer Support with the error codes. The Colorado Backup Setup program has encountered an error when attempting to change directories, or set the current working directory.  The installation process is not complete.  To reinstall:
1) Reboot Windows.
2) Choose File, Run and run type a:\setup (or b:\setup).
3) Type a different directory than the default.
4) If the error persists, call Colorado Memory Systems Customer Support with the error codes. The drive selected has been found invalid. Please check the drive and try again. Colorado Backup Setup has encountered an error opening a file on your system.  Check to see if the system.ini file in your Windows directory is READ_ONLY. There is an error in the path you entered.  The installation directory cannot contain any blanks or semi-colons, and cannot be the root directory.  Please enter a directory path. Colorado Backup Setup has encountered an error reading from a file on your system.  The file may be corrupt or in use by another application.  This is usually not a fatal error. Setup cannot read a source file. Could not delete directory. Could not delete file. Error in setting current working directory Setup was unable to create a dialog box. Drive selected is invalid. Setup was unable to edit the Windows SYSTEM.INI file. Setup - fatal error Setup was unable to create the directory you selected to install Colorado Backup for Windows.  To correct the problem, try the following: 
1) Check your disk for at least 2 MB of space.  If there is not enough space, then install cannot create the directory.
2) Check the directory you selected.  If it exists and is Read-Only, select another directory.
If the problem persists, please call Colorado Memory Systems Customer Support with the error codes. Check the install disk for the existence of files containing a "cmp" extension.  If these files are not on your diskette, contact Colorado Memory Systems Customer Support. Setup's inability to open a file can be due to the following reasons: 
1) All or some of the files that need to be decompressed are not in the same directory as Setup or are not in their compressed form.
2) The path to the file was incorrect.
3) You do not have access to the path selected (i.e. on a network).

Check the above situations, and try install again.  If continue to have problems, call Colorado Memory Systems Customer Support Setup cannot read from a file on the source diskette.  Check the install diskette for files with a "cmp" extension. Setup was unable to add a line to your Windows SYSTEM.INI file, needed to run Colorado Backup.  If your SYSTEM.INI file in the Windows directory, has been deleted, run the Windows Setup program.  If your SYSTEM.INI file exists, use a text editor to add the following line to the [386 Enh] section of the SYSTEM.INI file:
          device=CMSWTAPE.386 
Consult the Colorado Backup Files chapter in your manual for more information on adding this line manually.  After adding this line to SYSTEM.INI, restart Windows. Setup was unable to copy the device driver to your Windows system directory.  This may have been caused by the fact that the version of Windows you are running is not on your local hard drive (i.e. on a network).  The device driver is essential to running Colorado Backup.  Setup will copy it into the Colorado Backup directory you have chosen.  It will also change SYSTEM.INI to reflect the location of the device driver.  If you re-install the software, Colorado Backup may not be able to find the device driver. A serious Windows error has occurred, the program cannot run on the system at this time. To correct the problem try one of the following:
1) Close other Windows applications, then restart Colorado Backup install.
2) Exit Windows, restart Windows, and then restart Colorado Backup install.
3) Reboot your machine, restart Windows, and then restart Colorado Backup install.
