                          WINDOWS 95 ALERT NOTES

If any activities, hardware, or software on this list are important to you,
make sure you read the release notes (or other referenced material)
BEFORE YOU INSTALL WINDOWS 95. Thank you!

* Are you using disk compression? Disk compression in this release is not compatible
with Toshiba 2400 and 3600 notebooks. If you are using one of these machines
with DoubleSpace or DriveSpace compression, do not install this beta version
of Windows 95. This problem will be addressed before Windows 95 final
release. Please see the Disk Tools section of README.TXT for other general
  information on Disk Compression.
* If you are upgrading over Windows 95 builds earlier than 337, see SETUP.TXT and
  README.TXT
* If you have a 4 MB 386 and are installing from floppy disks, see the Setup
  section of README.TXT
* If you are using the Backup applet in Windows 95, do not directly back up or restore a
compressed volume file (DBLSPACE.0*, DRVSPACE.0*, STACVOL.*) from the host

directly. See the Applets section of README.TXT
