Module One:     Introduction (45 Minutes)

This section introduces the basic concepts and philosophy of Total Quality. 
It discusses employee responsibility, statistics, measures of central 
tendency, sampling methods, and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award.

Module Two:     Quality Building Blocks (1.5 Hours)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section discusses the foundation Quality vocabulary; defines key Quality
concepts; deals in depth with regards to working in meetings; and presents
the idea of the internal and external customers.

Module Three:   Data Collection (1 Hour)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section presents the reasons why Total Quality organizations collect
and utilize data in their decision making processes.  In addition, it
discusses how to create and utilize the data collection plan, the check 
sheet, and surveys.  

Module Four:    Seven Tools of Quality  (1.5 Hours)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section presents a detailed discussion on the seven basic tools
of Quality.  These are the Flow Chart, Control Chart, Pareto Chart, 
Run Chart, Scatter Diagram, Histogram, and Cause and Effect Diagram.  In 
addition to defining and identifying each one, each comes with a detailed
step-by-step implementation guide and example.  A brief presentation on 
the concepts of a graph is also included.

Module Five:    Idea Generation (30 Minutes)

This section delivers a technique to generate ideas and enhance creativity.
It presents rules, guidelines, and a process to make a brain storm turn
into a cerebral cyclone!  

Module Six:     Consensus Tools (1 Hour)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section presents techniques to reduce lists and build consensus.
Detailed examples, instructions, and purpose statements for such 
techniques as the Multi-Vote, Risk Analysis, Selection Grid, Cost-Benefit
Analysis, and Force Field Analysis are presented.

Module Seven:   Problem Solving Process (1.5 Hours)

A problem solving process is a systematic approach to identifying, 
prioritizing, and solving a problem.  This section presents a seven
step system that takes the user from problem selection to solution 
standardization.  It integrates the quality tools and techniques learned 
during each of the other modules, as it places them in the context of the 
problem solving process steps.

Module Eight:   Quality In Action! (1.5 Hours)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section utilizes the seven step problem solving process to present
an interesting, real life example of Total Quality in action.  Work with
Miguel and Juana as they attempt to utilize Quality to solve a competition
problem for Tacos R' Us.
