Thank you for downloading the virus definition update for Norton
AntiVirus for NetWare version 1.0. This text file describes the
contents of the .ZIP file and installation procedure.

Important Note: If your Norton AntiVirus for Netware 1.0 is dated
before 7-13-94 you will need to update your version. Using an older

alarms with garbled virus names. For information on how to receive
the update, please call (800)441-7234.

All contents of this file have been scanned by Norton AntiVirus
and are free from virus infection. The virus definition and repair
data included with this update are for use by either Norton
AntiVirus for NetWare 1.0 or Norton AntiVirus 3.0 only. The virus
definitions and repair data will not work with any other software
or any earlier version of Norton AntiVirus. If you experience any
trouble with this update, please contact Norton AntiVirus Technical
Support using any of the methods listed in your user's manual.

DEC94.TXT This text file describes what's new in this update.

VIRSCAN.DAT This data file is used by Norton AntiVirus for
NetWare 1.0 to detect viruses and Norton AntiVirus
3.0 to detect and repair viruses. This file

in your Norton AntiVirus for NetWare 1.0 or Norton
                AntiVirus 3.0 directory.

NetWare 1.0 to detect Macintosh viruses on
network servers. This file is not used by Norton
                AntiVirus 3.0.

virus information, such as virus characteristics
and behavior. This file is not required to detect
or repair viruses. To view this information, use
the Virus List command in the Tools menu.

VIRLIST2.DLL This file supports this and future Virus Definition
                updates.
