	        Video for Windows Runtime

After completing this installation, run SETUP.EXE on DISK 3
to install the Microsoft Video for Windows runtime module.

                 Multimedia Movie Driver
********************************************************

Drivers to enable viewing Multimedia Movie files were
installed on your system, if no drivers existed or newer
drivers were needed. You will need to re-start Windows for
the drivers to be enabled.

********************************************************
		       Special Fonts 
********************************************************

Six special fonts have been installed on your system for use
with the Help Magician. These fonts enable the visualization of
the Marker types within the Help Magicians editor. In the font
selection dialog, they will be listed as:

Help Courier 10
Help Courier 12
Help Courier 14
Help Times 10
Help Times 12
Help Times 14

IMPORTANT: After installation, you will have to re-start
Windows for these fonts to be available. To use these fonts
in the Help Magician, select "Editor Font" from the "Edit" Menu
and select any one of the special fonts listed above.

MORE IMPORTANT: The Delta-X offset has been moved left one
pixel for better cursor alignment. If you installing the Help
Magician over an earlier version, the new fonts cannot be
copied over the existing fonts while they are in use by Windows.

Exit Windows and copy the six fonts listed above over the same
fonts in you Windows directory as restart Windows.

		       PROGRAM GROUP 
********************************************************

If you elected to install a program group, a READHLP.WRI icon
will be installed in the Help Magician program group.

To print the READHLP.WRI file, double click on the icon and
print the file from Windows Write.

If you elected not to install a program group, read or print
the file from Windows Write at any time.

			WiNDOWS 3.0 
********************************************************

****** IMPORTANT ******

If you are running Windows 3.0: See the READHLP.WRI file for
instructions on moving the VBX support files.

If you are installing the Help Magician over an older version,
delete all icons in the "Help Magician" program group before
the last "Help Magician Application" icon. Highlight the icon,
press the delete key, and confirm the deletion.

			Multimedia

The Help Magician automates the use of audio (.WAV), midi
(.MID), video (.AVI), and movie (.MMM) files in your help
system using the standard WinHelp engine, supplied with 
Microsoft Windows.

The Help Magician, distribution version, is shipped with:
	(1) Microsoft Video for Windows runtime module
	(2) MMMovie driver, MCIMMP.DRV & MMP.DLL.
	(3) Example Video file: INFLIT.AVI
	(4) Example Midi file: CANYON.MID
	(5) Example MMMovie file: SNDOIL.MMM
	(6) Example Wave file: THANKS.WAV

The Help Magician, demonstration version, is shipped with:
	(1) MMMovie driver, MCIMMP.DRV & MMP.DLL.
	(2) Example Midi file: CANYON.MID
	(3) Example MMMovie file: SNDOIL.MMM
	(4) Example Wave file: THANKS.WAV

The demonstration version does not include the Microsoft Video
for Windows runtime module or an AVI example. With the
demonstration version, you will not be able to try the Video
example unless you have the Microsoft Video for Windows runtime
module and an AVI file.
