BORDER FILLS AND INTERIOR BRUSHES
=================================
None
In this dialog box, users who select NONE may lose another
graphic under the interior of the border. To get the graphic
back on top, you can simply select the border element and do
"EDIT/BRING TO BACK" and the graphic will move back to the front.

Bitmap Brush
Not all printer drivers support the functions necessary to create
the bitmap brush in border shapes other than square. Also, the
bitmap brush simulates its color on screen using the available
colors. If no other color graphic is on the document the bitmap
brush may appear to be monochrome. However, the image will print
out in the correct colors or gray scale. You can copy and
duplicate a border with a bitmap brush if you select it but a
bitmap brush will not group or cut to the clipboard using group
or block operations.

Hatched fills
Hatched fills are displayed at screen resolution, not printer
resolution. As a result, depending on the printer resolution,
the hatched fill will appear finer than it did on screen and in
some cases may appear as a solid fill.

Grouping Multiple Borders
Creating a group that contains more than one border element may
result in the loss of some of the border fill and border color
information.

COMPUTER AND PRINTER MEMORY
===========================
The operation of this program will be affected by the amount of
RAM memory available to Windows. If graphics are slow to appear
on the screen, it is probably because the entire graphic is too
large to fit in RAM at one time. In such a case, Windows may
swap some of the information in memory to your hard disk as the
image is being drawn. This will slow the graphics drawing
process considerably.

If your machine does not have enough memory to display a
graphic image on the screen, a solid black rectangle may appear
to indicate the size and position of the image. The box may
be moved and sized, and double-clicking on the rectangle will
produce the dialog box for the image. In most cases, the image
will print normally.

If the printed output from Announcements is not what you expect,
you may have insufficient printer memory to produce the entire
image. Opening the Print Options dialog box and reducing the
printer resolution will usually solve this problem.

CALENDARS
=========
You should not switch the portrait/landscape orientation after
opening a Calendar. Also, since the Calendar is actually a
collection of editable borders, you should not include it in a
group or block operation. See GROUPING MULTIPLE BORDERS for
more information.

DIMENSIONS FOR POSTERS AND BANNERS
==================================
To accommodate multiple page Posters and multiple row Banners,
height and width dimensions are not automatically set when
changing the paper size selection. They will remain at the
default dimensions until you change them.

DRAWING TOOL INFORMATION
========================
Groups
The drawing tools will work differently with various
combinations of graphics that you have grouped together.
Depending on what type of graphics you've grouped together,
you may want to individually use the drawing tool features
FIRST on single images and then group them together to be
ensured of getting the color PEN and BRUSH results you
desire. In some instances the Drawing Tools will not be
available for a group.

The Drawing Tools work best with two color graphics. The
effects of the Drawing Tools on multi-color graphics is
unpredictable.

Not all printer drivers will support the Drawing Tool
functions. In those instances the graphics will print
in their original format.

GRAPHIC FILE NAMES
==================
The graphic images in the Cartoon, Animal and Xmas
directory have been changed and are now all PCX files
and will have a PCX extension.

GROUPING WITH WPG and CGM FILES
===============================
Grouping of WPG and CGM files is not supported.
If you attempt to create a group that includes of
these file types the group will be created but the
 graphic will be ignored.

GROUPING MULTIPLE BORDERS
==========================
Creating a group that contains more than one border
element may result in the loss of some of the border
fill and border color information.

INSERT TEXT AND INSERT PARAGRAPH
=================================
In the Insert Text and Insert Paragraph dialog box, you
can hit ENTER or CONTROL ENTER for a carriage return.
If you encounter text or paragraph objects that cut off
part of a word, you will need to select it and resize the
frame.

PRINTING BUSINESS CARDS
========================
Due to differences in card stock sheets, the on-screen
form for business cards will display only a bottom margin.
You should allow for the left, right, and top margins when
placing your images and text.

Please be sure to test print on plain paper. This way you
can check the alignment before you use the card stock.

PRINT MERGE CHANGES
====================
On page 24 of the User's Guide the example given for
inserting a field name is incorrect. The correct syntax
for inserting a field name is to enclose it with two @
symbols, for example @FirstName@ will locate the field
FirstName.

The print merge feature is also case sensitive in reading
the field name so ensure that they are identical. For
example @Name@ will not find the field NAME in the file.

WMF GRAPHICS NOT VIEWABLE OR DRAWN ON SCREEN
=============================================
Some WMF graphics may not appear in the graphic preview
window or show up in the drawn frame. If this occurs,
just select "STRETCH TO FILL" and the graphic will
appear on screen.
