######## UPDATING WINDOWS WORKSTATION SOFTWARE #######

Some older versions of DOS and Windows NetWare client
software are incompatible with NetWare Telephony Services.

Novell recommends that you update client workstations
with the latest versions of the ODI protocol stack
components - LSL.COM and IPXODI.COM. This software
can be obtained from the NETWIRE forum on CompuServe.

If you are using an IPX.COM that is unique to your network
adapter - a "generated" IPX - you need not upgrade to
an ODI stack to use NetWare Telephony Services. You do
need to verify that the embedded IPX code (IPX.OBJ) in your
IPX.COM is at least version 3.10. You can check your IPX
version by typing:

  IPX /?

If you do not have at least v3.10 of IPX.COM, you must
upgrade to an ODI stack or regenerate your IPX.COM using
the IPX.OBJ provided on this disk. To regenerate IPX.COM,
use the WSGEN utility that came with your NetWare 3.11
package.

Copy IPX.OBJ from the IPX directory on the client disk onto
your WSGEN disks and run WSGEN to use the updated driver code.

NOTE: Novell no longer supports WSGEN or IPX.OBJ.
