11/30/53 - Trigger Fish
Fritz Goro

From the open Atlantic to the depths of the weed-strewn Sargasso Sea, the crowded ocean teems with schools of fish, gliding like well-disciplined armies through the clear water, with predators and prey. It is a diversified domain, divided, like the land, into many provinces and precincts, each with its own populations and ways of life. In an attempt to uncover some of the mysteries of marine biology, LIFE went below the surface to capture such elusive beauty as this trigger fish.
