$Topic,Configuring COM ports

When the Installation program asks you to check a
particular COM port on your PC, you can either

              Skip or Continue

Choose Skip to skip this particular COM port. For example
if you know that you have a serial mouse attached to COM 1,
you can choose to Skip the testing for modems on COM1.

Choose Continue to go ahead and check this particular COM
port for modems. If you are not sure of your hardware setup,
choose Continue... just to be safe.

If INSTALL finds a modem you will see the modem information
and INSTALL will continue.
