Release Notes for
LightShip Version 3.3.2 Browse Level Program

Introduction

The Browse Level Program diskette contains files for
running LightShip at the Browse level only.
You distribute the Browse level program and the
application files to users.

The Browse level program runs an application at the
Browse or Capture level, but not the Author level. The
executable file is a special debug version; it allows
you to capture more meaningful information if a LightShip
problem occurs.

in the LightShip User's Guide.

Copying Browse Level Program Files

The Browse level program disk contains one set of
Browse level program files. You copy the files to
your machine and distribute them to users based on the
number of licensed copies.

The files include:

LS.EXE
CTL3D.DLL
LSCNTLS.DLL
LSLB.DLL
LSMSG.DLL
DEFAULT.TDL
DGDSC.DLL
SMRTHEAP.DLL
README.TXT
README.WRI

The DLL files are the same as those installed with
LightShip. The LightShip executable file and the
Browse level executable file use the same name of
LS.EXE but are two different files. Make sure that
you do not overwrite the files.

This section describes how to set up the Browse
level program files on a machine. You follow the
same procedure to set up the program files for
yourself and for users.

Setting Up a Directory

The Browse level program files must exist in a
different directory from the LightShip files so
that the executables do not get overwritten.
When the Browse level program files are in a
separate directory, it is easier to copy and distribute
all necessary files to users.

Copying Files From the Diskette

1.	Create a Browse level program directory. For
example, create a directory called LSBROWSE:

2.	Place the diskette in the external drive and
copy the following files to the \LSBROWSE directory.

	LS.EXE
	LSCNTLS.DLL
	LSLB.DLL
	LSMSG.DLL
	DEFAULT.TDL
	DGDSC.DLL
	README.TXT
	README.WRI

3.	Copy the following files to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:

	CTL3D.DLL
	SMRTHEAP.DLL
