There are three groups of players available to you in the transfer market.
Each week you are informed of the new players that have been transfer listed
from the Premier League and European clubs. These players fall into two groups
The first group is made up of players taken from the predefined squads of the
teams you will meet in the Premier League and European competitions. The 2nd
group is made up of fictitious players of Premier League standards. If your
board approves you can make offers for these players without being rejected
out of hand.
The third group of players comes from approaching clubs directly about
a particular player in their squad (if your favourite player is not in that
squad use the EDIT program to put him in). In the case of Premier League
clubs or European clubs there is a strong possibility you'll be told where
to go but it can be worth approaching them anyway. In the case of clubs from
the lower divisions who desperately need the money you'll be treated with a
little more courtesy. Players are of course of a lower quality but you may
find a promising youngster that can be trained into something special.
You will need to meet the demands of the player for wages and a one-off
transfer payment as well as the clubs transfer fee to succeed.
