Loading NETTUNE.NLM for NetWare 3.11
January 25, 1994

READ BEFORE YOU INSTALL.

Two NLMs have been included which you may not need. They are

patchman.nlm	Novell patchman v2.23 NLM for applying patches to NetWare 3.11
clib.nlm CLIB version 3.11d

Be careful to backup your versions of these NLMs if you decide to use the
versions shipped with NetTune.

These NLMs are used by the NetTune NLMs. If your server does not have the
updated versions, you may need to load these.

The suite of NLMs for NetTune are:

ss.nlm Novell server statistics collector NLM
dpatch.nlm Novell disk statistics v1.00 patch to NetWare 3.11
nettune.nlm NetTune NLM v1.10

The three NetTune NLMs should be copied into the SYS:\SYSTEM
directory of the file server. From the console (or using rconsole)
load the NLMs as follows

[load patchman] if needed
[load clib] if needed

load ss
load dpatch
load nettune w

You may choose to put these commands in the autoexec.ncf file at the very end
after all other NLMs are loaded.

The dpatch.nlm is not required, but if not loaded, the disk activity will
always report zero. The patchman.nlm and dpatch.nlm do not load on
NetWare 3.12. We are working with Novell for a 3.12 patch.

For Timed Tune, always store the .NTT timed tune files in the file server
sys:\system directory. This is where NetTune looks for it.
