La Grenouillere was an open-air cafe and bathing establishment on the Ile de Croissy. Raoul de Presles described it as, "... a meeting place for the noisy, well-dressed crowds that emigrate from Paris and set up camp in Croissy, Chatou or Bougival for the summer..."
