 Installation Help
 -----------------
Most of these utilities require MicroStation in order to execute.
You will need approximately 1MB(one megabyte) of free disk space.

MDL applications will be installed in the ustation\mdlapps directory.
Non-MDL executables will be installed in the ustation\utils directory.
Documentation will be installed in the ustation directory.

 To install on DOS:

 1. Change to the \DOS directory on "Intergraph's MicroStation Utilities"
floppy or to the \INGRUTIL\DOS directory on the "Value Added Software"
    CD.

 2. Keyin "INSTALL".

The install program will ask for the location of MicroStation. If the
install program says it has successfully installed the utilities, you
should now be able to use them. If install fails and you have enough
free space, check for hardware problems.

 To install on NT:

 1. Using the file manager, go to the \INTEL_NT directory on the "Intergraph
MicroStation Utilities" floppy or to the \INGRUTIL\INTEL_NT directory
on the "Value Added Software" CD.

 2. Double click on setup.exe.

The setup program will ask for the location of MicroStation. If the
setup program says it has successfully installed the utilities, you
should now be able to use them. If setup fails and you have enough
free disk space, check for hardware problems.

IGRUTILS.TXT is a ASCII text file.

After installation, these files should be located in the
 ustation directory.

In future releases there will be "online help" available for these
 utilities from within MicroStation.

 Open Problems
 -------------
The content of this portion of the README is not intended to
identify all open trouble reports. Discrepancies between the
fixed problems are possible and indicate areas in the software
that were modified too late in the certification process to
be thoroughly exercised. In general, the content of the
fixes section supersedes the open section in such cases
of discrepancy. Production readiness of the software
discussed in this section is not guaranteed. The production
manager is responsible for assessing the fixes and the positive
and negative impacts of the revision software upon his
 productivity.

A large percentage of the problems listed below are not seen by the
average user. Most of these TRs are file related and require intensive
and detailed design file and system setups to reproduce them. These
details have been omitted in the TR descriptions.

Trouble Reports which are deemed site and or file specific have
not been included in the open Trouble Report list.

 TR # 219302430
RFMOD will not display characters keyed-in at prompts when it is run
 offline under NT.
