			     aka GIZ

This FREEWARE course is intended for your personal enjoyment.
It contains a couple of hundred hours worth of enjoyable effort
on my part. I am open to any suggestions or constructive criticisms
anyone may have to improve upon my work. I may be reached on
Prodigy SGHH05A. A very special thanks to Joe Blankenship and
to Don Harrison for taking the time to review this course in detail
and offering valuable input and suggestions to improve it before
it was released.

The Club, a fictious course set in the hills of Northeastern Arkansas
is home to folks who thought just the name 'THE CLUB' said it all. The
membership is limited to only 150 golfing members and you must be
nominated for membership in order to join. There is currently a
waiting list for membership privilages.

The Course is dedicated to good fellowship and fun on the course.
One rule of thumb at this course is that you must drink at least
one beer per side or you are assessed a penalty stroke on that
side.

The course is not difficult, but does contain many well placed
hazards that will grab your ball if you get too tipsy.

Another rule at the club is that members and guests must take time to
smell the flowers along the way. There are massive flower beds
somewhere along each hole. Besides the visual effect the smell of
new blossoms in the air make golfing on this course most enjoyable.

Scores on this course should make even the new golfer happy.
It was not designed to be punishing so low scores are easily
attainable to those who play within their game.

Par is 72 and distance from the Championship tees is 6770 yards.

The background on this course is entirely my own creations done
using Electronic Arts Deluxe Paint II Enhanced. John Kuniyk's
new JNSE Edit Tools was great, it made changes to background and
the palette, (few as they are) much easier to do.
The objects used in this course were borrowed from numerous sources
and most were reworked to some degree, either in size, shape
or color. For those who orginally created these I thank you.

This is the second or third course I have completed depending on
how you count. My first was OAKHILL2, which is Oak Hill CC in
Rochester NY. My second was OAKHOPEN, a revision to OAKHILL2 which
greatly toughened up the course for US Open type conditions,
including deeper traps, much closer deeper rough, and tougher pin
placements. In addition it contains a much improved background
which was enhanced with Deluxe Paint II Enhanced. Both these courses
are available on Double Eagle, Accolade , 19th Hole, and OAKHILL
Bulletin Boards. They may have been uploaded to others as well
which I encourage. I have a version OAKHILL3 which includes some
estethic improvements to the course seen in OAKHOPEN but not
in OAKHILL2, plus an enhanced background. I have distributed
copies of this to individuals but have not as yet uploaded it so if
it shows up somewhere you at least know what it is.
