Ragnarok


There are 2 cracks out for this great game, the first crack was put out
by FLT and as usual the shit did not work, because they didn't bother
to check and see if there was any kind of protection. But as everybody
knows by now, this is typical of FLT, it's been awhile since they did
an honest to god 100% crack.

The second crack was put out by THP (The Hill People) and my hat goes
off to them, they atleast check for protection before actually releasing
the game, and I must say that THP did a hell of a nice job on the crack.

But sorry THP you missed something in the crack, let me explain.

There is a doc check after you have reached 3000 moves, that's when the
password comes out, THP did a fine job of removing it!!!!! but there is
one option missing, if you have played the game you know that after 4000
moves you can do a hard save of your game, and if you die you can call
your game back from your last saved position. You can save all you want
before the 4000th move, but if you die, your game is gone.

Well one of the options missing is the option to choose the beginner mode
which let's you save your game (hard save) after every 200 moves, and if
you have played this game, well you know that you die a lot, so the missing
option is a must have.

So THP can you guys fix this little problem, it would be a waste of my time
asking FLT to fix it, since they'll have to wait for somebody else to do it
and that way they can steal the crack and say that they did it.

Well anyway this is a great game, even if it doesn't support any of the
sound cards available, and well worth cracking it 100%


BTW: I have played the game up to 25000 moves and no more doc checks have
appeared, so it seems that the only doc check, is at the 3000 move.
