Chevy's business: This text intends to warn all of you about the behave of an user that claims to be elite but uses methods that are far away from being elite ones... LET'S TELL THE STORY: On the past June 21th, this user - CHEVY it's his handle - called the Professional Software Exchange BBS (PSX) - in USA (he knows, as everybody do, that I'm it's Portuguese site) - and tried to hack my account there. Silver Bullet, SysOp of PSX and my great friend, knowing that I had been out in a 15 days holidays, thought it was normal that I've forgot the password and helped him logging in. After a chat with Silver Bullet - in which Chevy, always pretending to be me, tried to get some info about businesses between myself and PSX - Chevy changed the password in my account and logged off. On June 22th I've tried to log on PSX and failed - 'wrong password' error... A contact by voice with Silver Bullet cleaned the problem out and I've changed the password myself. Some exchange of information winth Silver Bullet lead me to the conclusion that it must be Chevy's work. And I've warned him of the fact... On the same June 22th - and 15 minutes after I've logged out from PSX -, Chevy tried again to use my account there! But he got the 'wrong password' message, naturally! Instructed by me, Silver Bullet pretended to think that it was me again, and helped him logging in. In the chat he started, Silver Bullet tried to embarass Chevy. And after a 10 minutes chat, he wrote: 'I know who you are, Chevy! Why are you trying to pretend that you're Tired Tiger???'. After that, Chevy started a bunch of offenses to Silver Bullet and threatened him of telling FBI about the pirate nature of PSX Board... CONCLUSIONS: As you see, thys guy CHEVY is a stupid kid that can be dangerous! He must, I think, be erased from all BBSs (I did it from mine some months ago...)! Please pay extreme atention to this text and act as you think you must act... It can save you a lot of trouble in the future, indeed! Friendly greetings, TIRED TIGER 6/23/92
