                         SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

This program requires an IBM compatible computer (640K) and EGA with
256 k of ram on the card as a minimum. A 286 or 386 computer is best,
an 8088 is O.K., better if it runs 8 mhz. Slower CPUs will work, but
since this program is graphics intensive, screen updates may be slower
than desired. A hard disk is required and a disk caching program will
greatly speed file loads.

                              GENERAL

This is an interactive, animated CRAPS game. All standard bets are supported
except DON'T COME and DON'T PASS bets. Each crap table (there are three
included) has an array of different players that take turns rolling the
dice. You input your bet choice through pull down menus. The MICROSOFT
mouse or compatible is supported for input if desired. Each major bet choice
has a help screen associated that may be instantly accessed. These help
screens will take you through the entire game and will soon have you making
bets like an expert even if you have never played craps before.

                         INSTALLATION / SET UP

See INSTALL.TXT for installation details.

                         HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM

Type "GAME" and the batch file game.bat will run the GAMBLERS AND MONEY
GRUBBERS initial screen. Select the CRAPS option to run this game.

If G&GCRAPS.EXE is being used as a stand alone program, it is started by
typing "G&GCRAPS.EXE" from DOS. Once the game is up and running, you will
be asked to choose a table to play on. Next you will sign in with your
name. If your name is on file from a previous game, you will be asked if
you want to start a new game. If so press "Y" or if you want to continue
with the previous game press "N". A "Y" answer will prompt the game to ask
you how much money you want to start with. An "N" answer will start the
game with the same amount of money you had when you finished playing last
time.

NOTE: Any Microsoft compatible mouse will work with this program.

                            GAME DETAILS

Choose this menu item for a detail of game controls and general information
about the game. To access the HELP screens for each bet choice simply place
the hand pointer next to the area of interest and push the "H" key. When you
are through with the HELP screen, just push any key or a mouse button to
return to the main screen.

                          SOUND BLASTER SUPPORT

If you have a sound blaster card installed in your computer, the game will
recognize it and set up for sound effects; provided there is enough excess
memory unused in you computer (with the sound files loaded the game will
require approximately 540 K of memory). The sounds are actual casino crap
table recordings, if you find these sounds annoying, they can be turned off
by pushing the "S" key (only active after bet results are announced by the
stickman and before the main menu is displayed). See GAME DETAILS for more
information.

                            QUITTING THE GAME

To quit the game and have your score saved, simply select the "QUIT GAME"
option from the main menu.
